  • 24 strawberries
  • 2 cups cream cheese frosting you may not need it all
  • black icing for the eyes
  • mini chocolate chips for the eyes, optional

  • Wash and dry strawberries.
  • Using a paring knife, slice the stem off of the strawberry to create a flat base. Place on paper towel to absorb excess moisture.
  • Slice the tip of the strawberry off, about 1/4".
  • Place frosting in a piping bag, or plastic bag with the tip cut off. Pipe a swirl of frosting on the base of the strawberry.
  • Place the santa hat onto the icing. Pipe a dot of icing for the hat's pom pom.
  • Using black icing, carefully pipe 2 dots for the eyes.

Chocolate chips are an easy option for eyes if the icing is difficult to work with.
